The parish church and stone tower of Goch suffered from the Allied bombardment during the capture of the town.

2951 x 2617 px (25 x 22 cm) @ 300 DPI

The tower had been standing since the 14th century but this did not escape its being plastered with a Hitler Youth sign on each side of its walls. This picture was taken on 3 March just a few days after the town's capture by the Scottish and Highland Divisions
