Embarking onto ships at the beginning of June 1944 in readiness for Operation Overlord. In the foreground is a LCT (Mark 6) carrying a Trailer, Athey Track Laying 6ton BT898-4 responsible for laying anti-silting for landing on beaches. Besides another LCT (Mark 6) can be seen a number of crane arms lifting truss (type crane caterpillar).
