Patton meets with Lt Col Bernard

Lt Gen Patton meets with Lt Col Lyle Bernard, commander of 2nd Battalion, US 30th Regiment, after the amphibious landings near Brolo. Bernard's exposed battalion held out for over 24 hours. 10 miles behind the German line against numerous counter attacks until it was relieved by the advancing ground troops of US 3rd Division.
