LST unloads its cargo

First photos of an LST (Landing Ship Tank) during unloading operations, released by the Coast Guard shows the massive doors of a giant Coast Guard manned LST swung open wide. Over this ramp rolled the tanks and heavy materiel that pushed the German army from the beach at Paestrum south of Salerno.
