Two of the three gliders that landed so close to the canal bridge. In the middle is the broken glider No. 93, which carried Lieutenant Wood's platoon. Behind is glider No. 91 (Lieutenant Brotherdige's platoon) which crashed into the defensive wire strung out around the east end of the bridge. The trees hide the bridge,, but the Cafe Gondree can be seen in the left rear of the photo.
