Infantry carriers of 3rd Welsh Guards moving through hilly countryside just before the start of the operation to take Kairouan in April 1943. The Welsh guards joined 1st Guards Brigade in March to replace 2nd Hampshires, who were decimated at Tebourba during the early battles to take Tunis.
