Map Room

One of the key factors in any military campaign is terrain, and one of the key methods for analysing terrain is good quality mapping. Our map room contains a selection of period mapping to help your military research. This includes original Geographical Section General Staff (GSGS) maps and defence overprints. The GSGS mapping is also invaluable if you are tracing your family's military history as war diaries will detail unit movement using grid references from this set of maps.

In order to keep costs low all our maps are supplied as instant JPG downloads (in their orginal size).

All of our maps are in the public domain and we charge NO LICENSING FEE for their subsequent use - that means they are copyright free. Please check out our copyright information by clicking this link copyright
