The headquaters' tanks of one of eighth Army's armoured brigades on 31 May 1942. The cheerful faces reflect the growing belief that Rommel had become trapped in the Cauldron and was about to be annihilated by Eighth Army. The Grant's high silhouette which made the cruiser tank visible from a great distance is clearly visible.
