American signalmen repair another break in the line. The unreliability of radio sets and the possibility of the interception of orders by the enemy, led to great relaince on telephonic messaging to keep forward positions in touch with command in the rear. Unfortunately it took just one tracked vehicle passing over the exposed cables to sever all communications.
